Connect. Equip. Plant.
Presence Pioneers is a ministry that exists to connect, equip and plant houses of prayer, Burn furnaces, praying churches and weekly prayer meetings. Like King David, we are yearning for a resting place of God’s presence in our cities, regions and nations.
Psalm 132, 133 & 134
As the Presence Pioneers storyline began unfolding, leaders began to gather together in small groups to get to know one another. As we sought the Lord for clarity of who to gather together, God said to gather the “presence pioneers”. He said to gather those with Psalm 132 in their hearts in Psalm 133 unity to see day & night prayer like in Psalm 134. Those three chapters help establish our values and purpose.
1. We are about God’s Presence (Psalm 132)
“Surely I will not go into the chamber of my house or go up to the comfort of my bed; I will not give sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids, until I find a place for the LORD , a dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob.” Psalm 132:35
“ For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20
Presence pioneers work to see at least “two or three gathered” in the name of Jesus with the primary agenda to be in God’s presence and minister to Him in worship, prayer and intercession. This could be a church prayer gathering, students worshiping in a college dorm room, a family meeting together in a home to pray or a house of prayer missions base. The vision is for a regional “David’s Tent”, with worship & prayer groups being the tent pegs. These groups individually are like beacons furnaces of God’s presence dotting the map. Each one is a part of God’s work to see transformation in their individual cities. As we unite to raise up a “canopy” of incessant worship, there will be collective breakthrough as God’s manifest presence rests on regions in a greater way.
2. We are about Unity (Psalm 133)
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! Psalm 133:1
God is knitting believers together across cities, states and regions through real friendships and one-on-one relationships. Every “joint” in the body of Christ is a relationship. As our relationships grow, the whole body is strengthened.
Speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. Ephesians 4:15-16
Many desire 24/7 prayer and worship in their cities, but the reality is that only a few cities in America are sustaining corporate 24/7 prayer at this time. However, as we lock arms together strategically in love we can accomplish collectively what we can not accomplish alone.
3. We are about Day & Night (Psalm 134)
And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? Luke 18:7
Jesus’ instruction to pursue day & night prayer can only be accomplished if there are those willing to be ministering to the Lord in the night hours. Psalm 134 is about those who serve God through the night. We want to see nights & weekends filled with ministry to the Lord. This could be all night prayer watches or Burns. This could even be the calling forth of fulltime “prayer missionaries” who are set as watchmen on the wall of 24/7 prayer (Isaiah 62:67).
